EYGLO

Eygló started her own label in 2006 after graduating from the Iceland Academy of Arts and interning with Bernhard Willhelm, AsFour and Jeremy Scott. She is a part of 9 designers that co-owns the shop Kiosk on Laugavegur 65 in Reykjavik. Eygló continuously tries to rediscover the wheel in pattern cutting as well as in detailing which gives her collections a bit of a futuristic view. Eygló, who has been working a lot with prints lately, either being inspired by dinosaurs, the surface of mars, or making icelandic camouflage, also likes to work with different textures in her garments. She finds it challenging to work with unusual fabrics to create something new and special but works mostly with silks and other natural fibres. You can usually find something humorous in her collections.
